I'm guilty..I pulled the trigger and then checked the source. All I saw was "#Habs have acquired Dustin Penner from #oilers for Jarred Tinordi and 1st rounder" with the name @RealKyper_ I clicked re-tweet...then, as I was listening to the radio, I realized no one else was talking about this
First off...it's been over 2-weeks since I've written a post!! It's terrible, and I blame my free trip to NYC and my new job for the delay. However, it seems like it was all meant to be, as I have been saving all my Habs Anger up (aka Habger) up to rant about whatever that display was yesterday evening.
I read a Gazette article this morning by Brendan Kelly on the Bell TV Series, Nos Canadiens. The article itself made me reflect on the mere two episodes I have watched, and not really enjoyed. Firstly, as a Bell Subscriber there was the drama of trying to actually watch the show when it was airing exclusively for Bell customers –you may remember my rant from way back in December.
Part 2 of my look back at 10 years worth of drafts, this time I look at the 2002, 2003 and 2004 draft. Who was drafted? Who never made it? And who should the Habs have picked?
I could talk about the Habs 3-2 win over the Panthers, but being at the game was tortuous enough, I don't want to relive the chippiest, unflow-y game ever. There were far more interesting story lines last night. Firstly, Brent Johnson KO on DiPietro.
Great win after what seemed like the longest All-Star break EVER! I am not a fan of the All-Star game, barely watched the skills competition and only made through 15 minutes of the actual game, so it was a long week for me without hockey. A lot of good things last night, and some really terrible things as well. Firstly, when Price let in that softie 2:00 into the first, I thought to myself: "Oh great...welcome to a repeat of the 2nd half of the Centennial season". Apparently I panic easily. Thankfully, Price was very strong for the rest of the game and the Habs prooved yet again that they are mentally extremely strong! Now..onto the bad.
